BrandingHogan's Alley Clothing

Hogan’s Alley was a prominent afro-Canadian neighbourhood in Vancouver, vibrant with life and culture from different nationalities and ethnicities. This beautiful integration of cultures led to the creation of vibrant music, fashion, and prominent figures – such as Jimmy Hendrix -  who pushed the boundaries of the integrated social movement in the ’50s and ’60s.

To create room for expansion and growth, the city demolished Hogan’s Alley, bringing an end to the once vibrant and budding culture. Hogan’s Alley, like pre-colonial African history, is synonymous with stories untold. Hogan’s Alley Clothing is a movement that gives these stories a voice.

Hogan’s Alley clothing is a fusion of African Culture with Western-style. One can imagine that such approaches to fashion may have been realized had the neighbourhood been given an opportunity to blossom. When you wear Hogan’s Alley Apparel, you’re not just wearing clothes, you’re wearing a story.

Using Fashion, TV and Media, Hogan’s Alley Clothing seeks to bridge the gap between all races, in a world increasingly divided around cultural lines. Not a hostile takeover, Hogan’s Alley is a symbol of unity.
