I'm Paula, an efficient and versatile graphic designer with 10 years of work experience as well as a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the University of Quebec in Montreal ; one of the leading design schools in Canada. I’m a naturally positive person who loves working in collaborative environments, teaching, sharing knowledge and ideas. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and an ego-free attitude. I am at my happiest and most effective when delving into an organization’s identity, learning all the ins and outs of the brand and coming up with fresh and unique ideas while adhering to the guidelines! With a perpetual desire to innovate, I am committed to continuously learning and excelling in my field!
My professional experience is equally divided between working as part of an in-house design team and freelancing. My most recent in-house experience was with Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel: Vancouver’s definitive luxury hotel. I was the sole graphic designer part of a six person marketing team responsible of ensuring a consistent, powerful brand message that is relevant to the hotel’s high end luxury clientele. As a freelancer, I lead design meetings that are thorough and solution-focused in order develop assets that are aligned with each client’s brand and target audience.
